CreateCollapseModifier
This command creates a CollapseModifier to remove edges. A CollapseModifier removes edges by collapsing the edge to a point somewhere along the edge. This modifier can collapse faces and edges. A separate modifier handles vertex collapse because the algorithm is very different.
Using This Command
Select a face or edge and apply the command.
- Select a face or edge.
- Right click and choose Collapse from the listed options.
- Faces and edges are collapsed to their mid-point or center by default.
