CreateInsertVertexModifier

This command creates an InsertVertexModifier in the mesh construction history.

Using This Command

Select a face-set and apply the command.

  1. Select a face-set.
  2. Right click and choose Insert Vertex from the listed options.
  3. The software adds an InsertVertexModifier to the mesh construction history.

This command works by inserting a vertex in the center of the face. If you select a quadrilateral or n-gon, this command creates a new vertex in each triangle. If you wish to inset a center vertex into a quadrilateral, please used the PokeFaceModifier instead. At present Scenome does not have a command for inserting a vertex in the center of an n-gon because this is easy to do with the existing tools.
