CreateTerrainPreviewMesh / DEM

This command creates geographic tiles from DEM imagery. NOTE: Scenome can load DEM files created from SDTS imagery but the results will not be correct due to requirements of the SDTS format.

Using This Command

Select a group node and apply the command or invoke the command from the File option main menu.

  1. Select File » Import DEMs for Elevation from the main menu.
  2. The software displays the common file dialog and allows you to select one or more DEM files.
  3. Select a DEM file that contains elevation data and click Open.
  4. Scenome creates terrain preview meshes from the imagery and places the camera near the mesh[es].

The Preview Mesh

This command creates preview mesh geometry from the input DEM files.
