ImageryGenerateMetadata

This command generates ASCII metadata for GEOTIFF imagery. Scenome uses these ASCII image maps to optimize texture generation.

Using This Command

To use this command:

  1. Invoke this command.
  2. The software displays command parameters in the property editor.
  3. Enter the full path to the directory containing the GEOTIFF imagery for which you wish to generate metadata.
  4. Click the button titled Give Scenome A Hard Time.
  5. This creates an ASCII geographic referencing data files.
  6. The current image map count is displayed in the lower left corner of the status bar.
  7. This can take a few minutes if you generate metadata for thousands of files.
