ScriptSetModeInteractiveTranslate
This command sets the software mode to interactive translate and displays the translate manipulator. [March 2007. This command replaces the C++ version although the C++ version is still included.]
Using This Command
Select Translate from the Modify option on the main menu or hit Q on your keyboard. The scale manipulator works on group, level-of-detail, and mesh nodes, as well as face-set, edge-set, and vertex-set selections.

The scale manipulator. Dragging the linear handles translates the selection
on X, Y, or Z. Dragging the central planes translates the
selection along XY, XZ, or YZ. Hold down CTRL to move the manipulator
without performing a translate operation.
