Learn how to displace a mesh with part of a displacement map.
The worksheet looks like this:
Left click
Terrain_1x1
.
Wait a second and left click again. The node opens for naming.
Set its name to
Terrain_1x2
and hit
ENTER
when you are finished.
Right click over the
RectangleGeometryModifier
named
GeometryLayer
.
Select
Position
»
Shift Along X+
from the listed options.
The worksheet looks like this:
The geometry is the correct size.
Examine the hierarchy.
Double click
DisplaceModifier
.
This displays modifier properties in the property editor.
Scroll down and find the
Displace
property group.
Set
Starting Corner X
to
255
.
This tells the DisplaceModifier to use the second quarter of the displacement map to displace the vertices.
