Create A New Toolbar

Creating a new toolbar is very easy.

Create A New Toolbar

  1. Start the application.
  2. Select Desktop » Customize from the listed options.
  3. Left click the Toolbars tab. This is a picture of the customization center Toolbar tab.
  4. Left click the New... button.
  5. This displays the toolbar name dialog. This is a picture of the Toolbar Name dialog.
  6. Set an appropriate name for the toolbar.
  7. Click OK or hit ENTER when you are finished.
  8. The software creates an empty toolbar. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.
  9. Left click and drag to move the toolbar away from the customization center dialog. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.

Add Commands To The Toolbar

  1. Left click the Commands tab.
  2. Find the File Commands category and the command named FileSave. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.
  3. Left click and drag this command onto the toolbar. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.
  4. Examine the customization center.
  5. Find the Edit Commands category and the command named EditUndo.
  6. Drag this command onto the new toolbar.
  7. Find the command named EditRedo.
  8. Drag this command onto the new toolbar. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.
  9. Move the cursor over the top edge of the toolbar.

    A vertical resizing handle appears.

  10. Drag the handle down, until the toolbar has a complete horizontal layout. This is a picture of the new, empty toolbar.
  11. Right click over the EditUndo command and select Start Group from the listed options.

    If necessary, adjust the toolbar orienation again.

  12. Examine the customization center and click Close.

    You can now dock the toolbar on the top, bottom, left, or right side of the interface. It is easy to dock on the left or right side if you hold down the SHIFT key while attempting to do so.

Delete The Toolbar

  1. Select Desktop » Customize from the listed options.
  2. Left click the Toolbars tab. This is a picture of the customization center Toolbar tab.
  3. Left click the toolbar named NewToolbar.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Confirm the deletion and click Close to exit the customization center.
