Create A New Panel

To create a new panel:

  1. Select Desktop » Create Panel... from the main menu.
  2. This displays the create panel dialog: This is a picture of the create panel dialog.
  3. Choose an appropriate name for the panel, such as "Extra".
  4. You should generally choose a name such as "Extra Panel".
  5. Click OK or hit ENTER when you are finished.
  6. The software creates a new, undocked panel. This is a picture of the create panel dialog.
  7. A command named "Extra" will now appear in the customization center.
  8. You can add this command to the Desktop » Panels menu.
