CalculateSwitchingDistances

This command calculates switching distances for multiple level-of-detail nodes based on the Switch Out distance of the first node in the selection.

Using This Command

Select a level-of-detail node and apply the command.

  1. Configure the Switch Out Distance parameter for the first level-of-detail node.
  2. For example, set Switch Out Distance to 1024.
  3. Select the first node, second node, third node, and so forth.
  4. The second level-of-detail node is set to Switch In Distance of 1024.
  5. The second level-of-detail node is set to Switch Out Distance of 2048.
  6. The third level-of-detail node is set to Switch In Distance of 2048.
  7. The third level-of-detail node is set to Switch In Distance of 3072.
