CreateCameraNode

Creates a new camera node as a child of the selection or as a child of the active parent. If the selection is empty or no active parent can be found, the camera is created as a child of the root node. If you have four groups selected, this command creates a new camera node beneath each selected group.

Using This Command

Select a group or level-of-detail node and apply the command.

  1. Select a group or level-of-detail node.
  2. Right click and choose Create » Camera from the listed options.
  3. The software adds a camera node to the scene graph and sets the camera's parameters to reflect the current worksheet projection and camera position.
  4. If you select multiple groups this command places a new group beneath each group in the selection.
