CreateSweep

Creates all the required nodes to implement a sweep. Creating a sweep collection by hand is tedious; this command creates all the necessary elements.

Using This Command

Select a group and invoke the command.

  1. Select a group.
  2. Select Create » Sweep from the main menu.
  3. The software adds a collection of nodes for the sweep.
  4. Draw rail curve and cross-section curves as needed.
  5. Make sure the rail and cross-section curves are placed in the appropriate group.
  6. A sweep uses a single rail curve; multiple rail curves are not supported.
  7. NOTE: All cross-section curves must have the same number of points.
  8. Configure rail curve and cross-section curve texture coordinates.
