Scenome is a two-part platform for building scalable, multi-threaded 3D scene-building applications for entertainment, visualization, and geographic information services. There are two versions of the platform, the light commercial version and the heavy commercial version. Each version has the same fundamental elements but there are differences in features and licensing terms.
Scenomics currently offers the entire light commercial platform as a free download. You can develop extensions and applications with the light commercial platform; however the light commercial platform, while free, does not have some key features. Shipping in January 2008, the heavy commercial platform includes a wealth of samples and many additional features.

The heavy commercial platform, including enhanced versions of Scenome Modeling Tools and Scenome Platform Tools are licensed together for $225 US via annual subscription. Customers receive at no charge all upgrades released during their subscription period. More information will be available in January 2008.
