Scenome 22.1 — 1/9/2022
Release details are described below.
- Scenome Documents. Updated texture storage. Previously textures were stored in a folder such as \Library\Textures\2D. This did not account for pixel formats, and it was difficult to determine the pixel format of a texture unless you either knew the pixel format beforehand, or were able to look it up using the Scenome Scripting Language API. Textures are now stored in a location such as \Library\Textures\2D\IPF_8888_ARGB or \Library\Textures\2D\IPF_FP32. This makes it very easy to keep textures nicely organized.
- Scenome Applications. Fixed a bug in macro OpenProjectFolder. This failed to open the correct folder if a \ was missing from the end of the path. For example: if you select a <FolderConfigNode> and invoke this command, the parent folder ( C:\MyFolder ) was opened instead of the specific, child folder that you wished to open ( C:\MyFolder\MyOtherFolder ).
- Scenome Platform. Fixed the way the <StringArrayNode> printed its name in the hierarchy. Previously, for arrays, the name format myString [] was used. The name now indicates the array size: myString[4].
- Scenome Applications. Added a package manager command to the Desktop menu of all Scenome app shells. This command is only available when you start a Scenome app. Once you load a document, the command is no longer available.
- Scenome Applications. We're now shipping package manager scripts with Scenome add-on modules. You can also use these if you design and implement your own packages.
